Small update for the beginning (more or less) of the week. The new year started slowly for the hobby department when it comes to the workshop. As you can see I’m still trying to shape out the Tyranid Trygon I’ve been working on for some time here, but every day I’m meeting new challenges. And then there’s the daunting mountain of models that stay primed and beg for attention. Hopefully I’ll be able to switch to new projects once the Trygon is finished. More WIP pictures and a little bonus after the jump.
The past weekend has been a great opportunity to make up for all that time lost due to sickness, work at the office and general procrastination in the hobby department. Even though I haven’t spent a great deal of time to paint my ongoing projects I received quite a bit of goodies to give me ideas with the Random Encounter miniature and got to play a terrific board game. Hop in to see what I’ve been up to after the jump.
The weekend was pretty uneventful in terms of hobby time spent as I found little opportunity to work on the WIP models that keep piling up (and staring at me from their boxes). I did however took care of another problem: I got an extra display cabinet to separate the models from the other “stuff”. Check out the display with a few new tricks after the jump.
Starting the week with a short but significant update today. I took the time to start painting the Trygon in the Hivefleet Leviathan color scheme and naturally the light colors gave me a little trouble. Check out the progress with a few WIP shots after the jump.
My hobby adventure took a drastic turn with some decisions I made in the couple of days since the last post. Since we’re heading into bad weather in Turkey (at last! Yes, I like winter) I’m planning on getting primer on as many projects as possible before we hit the times when spray priming will be out of the question. Thus I have once again dug into the boxes that need some attention. I even completed a kit within a day! Find out my progress on the hobby front after the jump.
